Recent Changes to Penthouse Magazine
Penthouse magazine was redesigned in 2005 to broaden its circulation and attract a wider and younger audience of adult males – who don’t have to hide the magazine from their wives and girlfriends. The new and improved Penthouse now competes with other popular men’s lifestyle publications and can be found in nearly every bookstore and newsstand.
Pictorials – Our pictorials are softer and more glamorous than previously. While we still publish a mature magazine, the content is now more in-line with those of other acceptable men’s magazines on the newsstands.
Editorial – Our editorial content is more reflective of the tastes of our readers and target audience—men aged 18 to 34 with a high-median income. We have expanded our popular sections to include greater coverage of sports, video games, music, fashion, spirits and automotive. We also added to our editorial staff with talented and well-known writers.
Style – We have introduced a contemporary style, bringing in a hipper graphical element to the publication.
Circulation – We are engaged in promotional programs that are significantly increasing our visibility and circulation to levels that will please our advertisers.
