P.J. LUCUS NAMED ASSOCIATE PUBLISHER OF PENTHOUSE MAGAZINE
(New York, NY – September 28, 2006) Diane Silberstein, President and Publisher of Penthouse Magazine Group, has named P.J. Lucus as Associate Publisher of Penthouse Magazine. Lucus, who was most recently Associate Publisher of Golf World magazine, joins Penthouse today. He will be the magazine’s first Associate Publisher under its new ownership and will report directly to Silberstein.
“P.J. is a well-respected, results driven executive who embraces the daily changing media menu and he’ll lead our team of passionate sales executives, sharing Penthouse’s vision and executable multi-platform offerings,” says Silberstein.
Prior to joining Golf World, Lucus was Advertising Manager / Classifieds Director at New York Magazine and was New York Manager for Field & Stream/Outdoor Life magazines. His early career included ad sales positions at Men’s Health, Esquire and Footwear News.
“I’m thrilled to be working with such a diverse multi-platform brand,” says Lucus. “I’m dually excited to be able to work with such a talented team. We’ll be opening a lot of eyes with our revamped product and I can’t wait to take Penthouse out to the marketplace.”
Lucus graduated with a B.A. degree in Communications from Fordham University in the Bronx. He currently resides in Maplewood, New Jersey with his wife and three children.
