The Pet Of The Year Playoffs Is December Penthouse Feature
12 Versatile Centerfolds Compete For the 2007 Title – Cast Your Vote and Help Penthouse Pick A Winner

(Boca Raton, FL – November 9, 2006) The Pet of the Year (POY) crown is up for grabs and the heat is on. But, which of the twelve Pets will win the title? The decision to ‘choose just one winner' is proving so difficult that Penthouse executives are asking readers to help them decide - which is why they are opening up the online polls to the general public. "One reader might be rooting for Melissa Jacobs, our October Pet who is an accountant from Wisconsin," says Tricia Austin, PMGI's VP of Marketing, "while another might want to see January Pet, and former U.S. Army Specialist Heather Vandeven reign in 2007. The choice will be personal for each voter but we are hoping to gain a majority consensus from this effort."

Consumers can cast their votes for POY and POY Runner-Up online at www.petoftheyear.com until December 5, 2006 12pm EST. The competition has twelve candidates vying for two titles. The newly crowned centerfold who wins the title will be featured in the March 2007 Pet of the Year issue and the Runner-Up will be featured in the respective April 2007 Pet of the Year Runner-Up issue. Nominees include California natives Celeste Star, Heather Vandeven and Bella Starr, Gina Austin from Ohio, Melissa Jacobs and Charlie Laine from Wisconsin, Nevada's Renee Diaz, Lexie Karlsen from Arizona, Hawaii's Shay Laren, Illinois resident Nevaeh, Florida's Jennifer Emerson and New York native, Krista Ayne.

"Don't judge a book by its cover," says Austin. "While physical attractiveness is an obvious decisive factor in our choice, personality plays a significant role in the selection process as well. The POY position is highly regarded and the victor must bring more to the table than just looks. Acting as an ambassador for the next year, she must be dedicated and flexible as well."
