FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SOPRANOS STAR STEVE SCHIRRIPA SQUEALS TO PENTHOUSE
REAL-LIFE SATIN DOLLS a.k.a. BADA BING DANCERS ALSO FEAUTURED IN THE APRIL 2006 ISSUE
(Boca Raton, FL – March 7, 2006) Wise-guy cast member, Steve Schirripa, who plays Tony Soprano's brother-in-law Bobby on the ever-popular HBO series the Sopranos, is singing like a canary about the show to interviewer Chaunce Hayden in the new April issue of Penthouse Magazine. The series, which returns to the airwaves on Sunday March 12th, will enter its' sixth and final season of the program - much to the chagrin of loyal and devoted fans who have waited fifteen long months between seasons. In his "cross-examination," Chaunce asked Steve if Bobby would get a promotion or get whacked (and if it's the latter, how far in advance does a character know what their fate will be?), to which Steve replied, "At the beginning of the season, you look at the front of the script, then you go straight to the back to make sure you're still on the show." So, what's in store for this otherwise, mild-mannered mobster? "I'll accept anything that happens to me, but I can tell you this, in season six, I attend a few funerals."
Are women warded off by weight? Schirripa dishes about Sopranos groupies and how bold they can be, "Me and Gandolfini have a thing we say and that's: they say TV puts ten pounds on you, we say it takes fifty pounds off!" While Schirripa is no rat, he's not shy and yeah, he talks. About cast members, scandals, real-life mobsters and whether or not there might be a Sopranos movie. You got a problem with Steve getting chatty in this month's issue? No, I didn't think so.
MATT PINFIELD - THE MUSIC MAN: He was a deejay in NJ, a host of MTV's 120 Minutes and an A & R rep for Columbia Records. He has been touted as the most knowledgeable man in rock and now, in less than a decade, Matt Pinfield, the walking encyclopedia of music, is back on television as a VH1 veejay. Once deemed "too bald to be on the air," Matt persevered nonetheless and was a definitive catalyst in breaking bands such as Stone Temple Pilots and 311. He cites the bathroom as being an unconventional rock star meeting room (think Don Henley and Peter Gabriel in the think tank) and he almost tripped and broke his ankle wearing Gene Simmon's Love Gun boots when he got to jam with KISS. While he openly talks about his legendary interviews and his many musical encounters (that the rest of us could only dream of!) Matt Pinfield rocks on with his bad-self in this month's Penthouse.
SEX POD GODS: Every day, from the basement of their Wisconsin farmhouse, husband and wife Dawn Miceli and Drew Domkus, podcast their sex life for the world to download and see. In doing so, they've changed the face of entertainment, inspiring 100k spectators to "iTune" in to a less-than-typical married couple. Some of their biggest pod fans include: gamers, bankers, doctors and soldiers in Iraq. And now, thanks to "PodFather," Adam Curry - the Bill Gates of podcasting and former MTV veejay, Dawn and Drew are taking their show to Sirius Satellite radio where their punk rock Romeo and Juliet story will continue to unfold and fans are sure to position their wheels and dials.
