Mr. Gellen joined the Company in February 2011 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Gellen was a shareholder in the Palm Beach County offices of the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig where he was a member of the Corporate and Securities, Intellectual Property and Technology and Media Practice Groups. While practicing with Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Gellen represented public and privately held businesses and entrepreneurs in connection with a wide array of corporate legal services including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, cross-border transactions, joint venture and other strategic license arrangements, among other general corporate law matters involving technology and e-Commerce, consumer product, energy, and health care, among others. As part of his corporate practice, Mr. Gellen provided strategic advice in connection with the offensive and defensive protection of intellectual property rights for his clients including the consideration for patent, copyright and trademark protection. Mr. Gellen has also negotiated and concluded a number of other types of commercial contracts, including but not limited to a variety of general business, employment, and real estate contracts. In an effort to help his clients avoid costly litigation, Mr. Gellen also provided creative and practical solutions to resolve pre-litigation business disputes.

Before joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Gellen served as Vice President and General Counsel of Pace Americas, Inc. where he directed the corporate and legal affairs of Pace Americas, Inc. Mr. Gellen was previously a partner in the Atlanta office of Kutak Rock LLP, a national law firm, where he represented corporate, governmental and individual clients in the defense of commercial, securities and employment matters in Federal and state courts nationwide as well as in arbitration, mediation, administrative and regulatory proceedings before the SEC, NASD, NYSE, AMEX, AAA and state agencies.

Mr. Gellen is a graduate of the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. He also received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with high honors, from the University of Florida. Mr. Gellen is a member of both The Florida Bar and the State Bar of Georgia and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
